Have trouble activating Siri with Toyota Prius Plug-in? Every time by pressing the “button”, the car activates the Hey Toyota function but not the Apple version.

No worries. Here’s an easy fix for the issue. It is actually not an issue at all. It is how the feature has been designed.

The steering wheel does have a separate function to summon a voice assistant.

• Short press activates the factory Toyota voice assistant.
• Long press activates Apple Siri assistant.

So with a short press you can enable factory assistant, and by pressing longer button will activate Siri assistant.
